But going ahead, and choosing an exercise bike without proper knowledge about the machine could be a wrong decision.
Today, I’ll tell you 7 things you need to consider before choosing an exercise bike.
Weight Of The Flywheel: For beginners, exercising on a bike that has a flywheel of 7 to 9 Kg would be perfect. For intermediates, training on a bike that has a flywheel of 9 to 14 Kg would be ideal. And for experienced people, exercising on a bike that has a flywheel of 15Kg+ would be excellent.
Bluetooth Feature Is Must: If there is Bluetooth connectivity in the console functions of your exercise bike, then it’s excellent, but if not, then it’s not that beneficial. With the Bluetooth connectivity, you can manage all the programs directly from your smartphone.
Comfortable Sitting & Handling: While exercising, you must feel comfortable, and the handling of the bike needs to be simple. If it is, then you will tend to exercise for longer.
Upright Bike or Recumbent Bike: There are two types of exercise bikes, one is Upright, and the other one is Recumbent. Both of these bikes are good, but over time, Upright Bikes have outrun the others. So’ I would also suggest that you go with Upright Bikes.
Weight Support: Though, most of the bikes nowadays can support weight up to 80 to 100kg. But If your weigh is over than that, you need to talk to your trainer or choose the one which supports greater weight.
